I've always had the dream of having a group of brothers to grow alongside.
Who hasn't?
So I tried and failed at making friends with what we'll call 'normies' - normal guys who might even do a good habit like going to the gym, but they are largely unambitious in life, and still do tonnes of bad habits like drinking alcohol and scrolling consuming content with no intention to improve.
Months of approaching guys at the gym later, I realized that I was honestly still lonely. I had met guys who I considered friends, but I would only hang out with them for workouts because I just didn't respect them outside of the gym.
I thought 'cold approaching' guys in the gym was the answer, but I was spending countless hours on it and meeting literally no serious, ambitious guys on self improvement.
Why did I keep falling into that trap?
This is when I made a crucial realisation:
I have the power to bring guys like me together. I have a massive audience of hyper ambitious young men who follow me. Why should I try to find normies who could possibly live up to the standards that I have for real friendship, when I could just get my most serious, mature followers to join together in a community?
I had to create this community, not only for you and the guys in it, but for myself too.
Why join a self improvement community?
Accountability – Having likeminded guys who have high expectations for one another is a literal God send.
Self Image – You join a group of ambitious men with a self improvement culture and you start to believe in this new version of yourself. The next level of your manhood. Being someone you really respect.
Enjoyment – Self improvement and success is usually a lonely journey. You know this. That's why we should take every opportunity like this community so we can have a fun social life on the way to our goals. Achieving goals is awesome, but ENJOYING the journey because you have funny friends you like alongside you turns this grind into the dream life.
Brotherhood is what turned me from an average small YouTuber getting low views to becoming the biggest self improvement YouTuber ever.
Some guys might think "I don't need anyone else".
And honestly? I kind of agree. You don't NEED anyone else.
But do you WANT brotherhood?
If I could spawn a couple of ambitious, funny brothers, I absolutely would, and you would too.
I had a few more profound realisations as my journey went on:
1) This Would Be Literally The Perfect Community.
I've been looking for a place to find serious guys on self improvement, and unfortunately...
There is none.
Even in places of discipline like the gym and martial arts club, no one is actually serious in self improvement. They can be nice guys who are disciplined in this one area of life, but they have no ambition to level up in other areas.
I've even spoke to a handful of our community members who are in the military and they've all said the same thing to me "Everyone in here is like a Jeffery." Even in the military!!! You'd think the guys in there would be ambitious, serious about their discipline, but again they are just like the guys you'll find in the gym: Disciplined in one area of life, completely unambitious in others.
If we can't find a place that has the kind of guys we respect and want to connect with, fuck it, I'll make the community myself.
And here's why my community is the perfect community - every guy is serious on self improvement, avoiding degeneracy, holding each other to high expectations.
Think about it - you and I share at least 80% of the same values. That's why you resonated so much to my videos. Well every guy in our community shares the same 80% of values! That means we have so much in common, and we still have our individual differences which bring even more growth because we can challenge each others views.
This community isn't just a place full of 'Hamza fanboys', you'll see inside that each man has his own values and morals.
2) Every Man Like Us Should Be In A Brotherhood.
It just doesn't make sense to continue as the lone wolf.
It's not as fun, and it gets you to your goals slower than being in a brotherhood.
So many of us have spent years just grinding our self improvement journey's alone whilst surrounded by people who don't relate to us. Having to explain our goals and ambitions to people who just don't understand, or even worse, mock and insult us for wanting to make progress in life.
That's why it's so important that we join together in our community. Everyone on the same journey supporting one another.
3) Turn Yourself Into A Charismatic Micro Leader
Leadership is the next level of self improvement.
There's something incredible that happens when you successfully lead someone to making progress in some area of self improvement - it's like it 'locks' in that progress for you and makes you less likely to slip and get into a rut.
Think about it - imagine being in our community and a younger guy asks you for advice on an area that you've been making some nice progress in, for example like getting consistent in the gym. You teach him what you've learnt and hype him up to get consistent. He appreciates your advice and you feel good.
What you didn't realise is that you've just locked in your own progress - you become more consistent in the gym after that conversation. Why? Well because you've just reminded yourself of the principles that allowed you to become consistent in the first place. You also elevated your status and self image by speaking like a leader and so now you act even more serious in your self improvement.
When you lead another community member, you learn too.
Adonis School gives you tonnes of opportunities to step into your God given desire to lead as a strong man.
There's no pressure, you don't have to become a leader. But the opportunities are there.
4) "When Do You Get To Have Fun On Self Improvement?"
We got onto self improvement and started giving up the bad habits that were holding us back.
Video games, porn, drugs, loser friends.
And giving those things up was 100% the right decision - we made faster progress in our goals which is the most important thing.
But you often can find yourself thinking "when do I get to have fun?"
Now many of us know that the grind is the fun. When you've hit a hard workout and been productive its like your baseline of fun is increased and you feel more joy around the clock.
Still, many of us miss the hype that comes from an actual fun, usually bad habit, type of activity.
And that's where brotherhood comes in - Brotherhood turns the grind into a video game.
Workouts are pretty fun. But if you go with a couple of good guys and shout at each other whilst you hit PR's, then that will be the highlight of your week.
The same with growing an online business - it can be fun to work hard and see the results. But it is also a slog and a grind. But if you have a community of guys all growing online businesses, it makes you feel not alone. You see another guy just like you starting to blow up on YouTube and you're genuinely happy for him, and because we are a community, he hops on a call and literally helps you to blow up too.
The journey is more fun together. Don't overlook that.
Joining Adonis School is like a treat to yourself.
